Stout Robin

4.6% ABV

Tasting Notes

With an ABV of 4.6%, Stout Robin is a traditional full-bodied dark stout brewed with a rich blend of roasted malts and English hops to give a balanced blend of bitterness and spicy berry aroma.

Seasonal Special brewed November - March. Cask only (not bottled or in mini cask) subject to availability.

Whats in a name?

'Stout Robin' is named after the little Robin who sits on the red brick wall outside the brewery door!  He is mostly seen during the winter months between November and February, so remember, when the Robin's about - so is Jo C's seasonal Stout! The Robin was also voted the UKs' favourite bird and is aggressively territorial. Originally the word stout meant "proud" or "brave", it was then later used to describe beer as "strong".
